Think Italy and one of the qualities sure to come to mind is style; stylish design, elegance, and effortless grace.
What about Germany? Efficiency. But efficiency based on quality. German vehicles aren’t just reliable, they are also built superbly and a pleasure to drive.
It stands to reason then that a motorhome combining the best of both would at least be worthy of consideration.

Being honest, we’re not really sure why Laika motorhomes aren’t more commonly seen on the UK roads and in British camp sites.
Certainly on the continent the full range of A-class, low profile and coach built vehicles are a common sight.
The availability has been an issue.
At Emm-Bee, based in Bury just outside Manchester, we are now one of just two UK dealers to stock new Laika motorhomes.
However, it feels like Laika are looking to do something about it, to say ‘hang on UK, yes Baileys and Burstners are great, but we have a lot to offer too’.
That’s a sentiment we agree with.
Laika’s might not be right for everyone – what motorhome is – but within the demographic they are aimed at they serve up a compelling case for consideration.
They have innovative design, with unique storage options, most models are fully customisable, and the finish throughout – from the cab, through the living area and outside is simply stunning.
One thing we love with Laika motorhomes is the complete cab and cabin integration – this means when you’re parked up there is no wasted space, it’s that meeting point of Italian style and German efficiency again.
They have even thought of us Brits and others from colder climates as their models are designed to more feel comfortable in cold climates than any other motorhome on the market today. This tends to be more of an issue in the Lake District than the Mediterranean!
We’ve got Laika models arriving in big numbers, but just what does this Italian-German partnership offer?

At heart, Laikas are high-end motorhomes, with a touch of luxury running through them. They are all based on Fiat cabs, German engineering on top of that. However, try as we might our words aren’t going to do them full justice – a great motorhome is something to be seen and driven, not read about.
